Lifechanging...

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life." John 3:16

As I'm sitting here trying to write what this means to me, it's a little overwhelming. I mean really, look at this scripture, can anyone understand that kind of love and compassion for us? You? Me?

Unpacking this statement in itself in mindboggling, and also very humbling. God is brilliant in his thinking, he literally gave us a way out of here alive spiritually, and in return all he wants is that our lives change to be Christlike.

He wants a relationship with us, not a religion, in having that repentance is key, its's a must! We have to turn from our old, sinful ways and live for him. Striving everyday, looking to Jesus, praying for renewal of spirit, mind, and heart. I personally love the fact that God will never be done with me, and he'll never be done with you either. What a comforting thought that as long as we are in Christ, he is with us too...
